In a surprising crossover event that challenges usual expectations, Ubisoft has announced an virtual collaboration between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the renowned anime series Attack on Titan. The unexpected Thanksgiving event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing complimentary extra story content for Shadows players.

Peculiar Questline Disclosed

According to the authorized announcement, "An unusual encounter leads heroes Naoe and Yasuke into a fresh quest, where whispers of prohibited rituals and terrifying transformations echo through the darkness." The storyline introduces a "unusually dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the duo with venturing into the Crystalline Cavern—a important location from Attack on Titan—to rescue her friend from a secret group.

The adventure centers on "bizarre trials and a terrifying foe" and is open to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.

Iconic Places and Metamorphoses

The trailer features the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan reimagined as the Crystal Cave. This historic location was earlier where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The trailer finishes with a striking moment showing a character, probably the captive, morphing into a Titan that looms over Naoe and Yasuke.

Special Prizes and Extra Features

Players who finish the mission will acquire an unique katana alongside multiple items secreted throughout the area in secret chests. The update also features purchasable Attack on Titan item packs, offering:

Third Free Story Content

This update also introduces the game's third no-cost story content, titled "The Mystery."
