Much like Storm Claudia hit the north-west the previous evening, Manchester City swept United aside at the Etihad. It was a statement three goal triumph for their manager's side due to goals from Rebecca Knaak, Bunny Shaw and Lauren Hemp. It was a performance that truly announced their championship potential as they reinforced their position at the WSL pinnacle.
